Naked Era

I cannot wait to be in my naked era with no wires or elastic to push my flesh into sweaty
deceptive flatness or padding to smother my areolas

in my naked era
wind will whip the hair on my armpits and I’ll spontaneously sink
into warm bathwater covering every inch except the top of my belly
and the tips of my toes

let water fall down the divots in my back rolls let loose
skin and stretch marks be seen: feast your eyes on this buffet of hips heaping mashed potatoes
piled under a belly of jiggly pudding slightly topped over the sides

And if my windows are open wide and anyone cuts a serving glare, well
you ate for free.
